Sgt Robert EMSLIE in Capt Thos VILLETT's Company in the 76th Hindustani Regiment.
Born in the parish of Aberdeen, enlisted age 18.
Discharged “in consequence of three gunshot wounds received at Jamalabad 6th October 1799, at Burthpore 21st January & 21st February 1805, as also rheumatism and intermittent fever contracted in Walcheren” ~ considered unfit for service.
“He is about forty three years of age, is 5 feet 8¼ inches in height, black hair, gray eyes, dark complexion, and by trade a weaver.”
