WELSH. – To Neville and Gloria (nee BAKER), a daughter Caron Julia, born 7th March, 1978 at Sandford.

CRAIGHEAD. – GILFILLAN. The engagement is announced of Peter, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Don CGAIGHEAD of Port Elizabeth, and Eleanor, youngest daughter of the Rev. and Mrs Sandy GILFILLAN of Johannesburg.

DEATHS.

BUYS. – Frances Henrietta, passed away, sister of Vera and Joe, aunt of Yvonne and Johan.

COCKCROFT. – Hester Adriana (nee STRYDOM), passed away in East London on the 8th March. Mourned by her daughter Amor, Sid and grandchildren Peter and Sharon. Cremation at East London, tomorrow (Friday) 10th at 10 a.m.

FROST. – William John (Bill), husband of Muriel (nee KEMP), father of Aileen and Bez, Lynette and Brian, grandpa of Tony, Beverley, Derek, Gaye, Ronnie, Bruce and Stephen and great grandmother of Sean, uncle of Hazel, Merle and Syd, passed away on the 8th March, 1878 at St Joseph's Hospital. Funeral notice later.

MILLARD. – Arthur (Attie) aged 68 years passed away on the 8th March. Mourned by his wife Maria (Pollie), children Arthur, Jack, Zilpa, Marie and family's. Service in the D.R. Church, Marne Avenue, Lorraine, today (Thursday) at 2.30 p.m., thence to the Forest Hill Cemetery.

MOULD. – Henry Maurice of Grahamstown, passed away on the 4th March, 1978. Mourned by his family.

THOMAS. – Dorothy Annie (nee QUIN), passed away at the Provincial Hospital on the 8th March, 1978. Husband of Viv, mother of Beryl, Wally, Rodwyn, Virginia, Lynton, Beverley, and grandchildren, also managers and staff of Garlick's, Westbourne Road. Service in St Hugh's Church, Newton Park, tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 3 o'clock. Cremation private.
