Obituary
A Reuter message from Grahamstown states that the death occurred on Friday night of James Norman FORD, of Kasouga, Albany.  Before the war he was well-known in football circles, being a member of the Albany Club.  An injury compelled him to abandon the game in 1926.  In 1920-22 and in 1924 he played for Eastern Province.  His age was 40, and he was unmarried.

Mr. H.G. MORRIS
Mr. H.G. (“Goff”) MORRIS, younger brother of Mr. Dudley MORRIS of Queenstown, died in Salisbury on Saturday afternoon.  He was a former resident of Queenstown, who went to Rhodesia at the time of the Mashona rebellion and joined a volunteer corps form Umtali.  After the rebellion Mr. MORRIS obtained an appointment in the Salisbury Veterinary Department.  He was pensioned about two years ago and had been dairy-farming since then.  The news of his death was very sudden, his relations not even knowing that he was ill.
