The Harcourt Diaries
John Thomas Davis Harcourt was born 1851 in Birmingham and went out to join the Frontier Police. Harcourt was present at many important meetings with tribal chiefs and the diaries are very interesting historical documents. Both diaries were saved for posterity by Jane Milne who has agreed to make them available here. The transcription by Sue Mackay and Geoff Chew.
