Death Notice (Cape Archives) says he was born in Foots Cray, Kent (near Chislehurst), the son of John and Elizabeth MANDY

John Penny MANDY of St.Mary le Bow, London, bachelor, married Mary Ann DAY of Greenwich in the County of Kent, spinster, by Licence on 20 April 1813 in St.Mary le Bow.

Both signed their names.

Witnesses: Sarah [WOLFINGFORD] and William SARD Jun.

John Wilkinson MANDY, son of John and Mary Ann, baptised 1 May 1814 in Chislehurst, Kent (born 4 June 1813)

 

Baptism of Stephen Day MANDY not found. He returned to England and his death is registered in Hampstead RD, June quarter 1869, Volume 1a page 411, aged 54.

Mary Ann Wilkinson, daughter of Stephen DAY and Lydia his wife of the parish of St.Giles in the Fields was baptised February 1790

Joseph Wilkinson, son of Stephen DAY and Lydia his wife of the parish of St.Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex was baptised on 15 September 1791

 

Sadly both Josephs died in infancy
