Peter Clarke DANIEL supposedly had four children in London by his mistress Ann MITCHLEY, who also sailed with TURVEY's Party. These children are listed under Peter and Eliza in The Settler Handbook. However, the return for TURVEY's Party seems to indicate that Ann's name was JONES. There is a multiple baptism on 5 January 1816 in St.Giles in the Fields, London for Thomas, Sampson and Elizabeth JONES (no dates of birth given), listed as the children of Peter and Ann of 9 Little St.Andrew's Street.

His brother was Sampson DANIEL, also of TURVEY's Party, and his sister was allegedly Julia DANIEL, wife of Edward TURVEY (see notes for Edward TURVEY). In addition he had a half brother, John Nevins DANIEL, who also emigrated,
