Francis GREATHEAD, bachelor, married Eleanor HALL by Licence on 30 May 1788 in St.Marylebone.

Both signed their names.

Witnesses: Mary HALL and Adrian TURNER

 

James Henry GREATHEAD thought to have been born in Louth, Lincolnshire. Baptism not found.

James Henry GREATHEAD married Martha HEWITT on 21 July 1818 in St.Mary's, Handsworth, Staffordshire.

 

Death Notice (Cape Archives) for son James Henry GREATHEAD says that he was born in Dudley, Worcestershire. James Henry Snr. wrote his correspondence with the Colonial Office from Dudley.
