GATEHOUSE, George - Extra Data

 

See 1822 correspondence at by George GATEHOUSE and also by Mary GATEHOUSE, which show that George was a late replacement for a single man named INGRAM in COCK;s Party and was forced to leave his wife and children behind.

 

See also correspondence of William SHEPHERD, where George GATEHOUSE applies for permission for his wife and children, living with Mr. WOOD at 146 High Street, Portsmouth, to join him.
